- pben: I've been home with all three kids today (schools closed due to the storm). Played Wii, watched movies, enjoyed the day. Still alive anyway.
- pben: Survived Ida. Wasn't as bad as the hype. Maybe that's how life is, we make "storms" worse in our minds than they really are? Just a thought.
- pben: Watching a scary movie with Bren, and yes I'm protecting her!
- pben: I am excited to be planting a new church in a paradise setting so I'll take the bad (AKA Ida.) Brenda and I are having a hurricane party!
- pben: Very productive as a church planter today? Nope. Very productive as a dad staying home to take care of his sick little girl? Yep! No regrets
- pben: Kept Mack home today from school. Most kids watch tv when they are home sick. She is on the laptop doing multiplication tables. Brainiac...
- pben: Today has been a bad day. Yep all day. No biggie though, there's always tomorrow. Can't have great days everyday right?
- pben: Today will turn out to be a good day...no matter how this morning has started...just keep swimming, just keep swimming...
